We were approached by an up-and-coming Embedded Software Engineer who was facing redundancy. The company they had been working in for a little over 2 years post-graduation was undertaking a round of redundancies. Now the challenge was not so much about getting a job but getting the right job in the right company in the right area. The candidate didn’t want to relocate, and they wanted something that was interesting and that would work on top of and expand their skillset.

They felt we were working with some interesting companies so we agreed to make introductions to a selection of companies that would offer the type and range of work as well as the development potential that the candidate was interested in.

Following some interviews the candidate was able to make their selection and accepted an offer from the company that suited them best in terms of technical challenge and area of interest and at a salary that suited both. Phew! What a relief! In your early career to get the role you wanted when faced with uncertainty that was in no way your doing.

The candidate was able to quickly navigate through uncertainty and we were able to help one of our regular clients identify an Embedded Software Engineer that they may not ever have become aware of and who was able to quickly add value to their team. This also made recruitment for the company painless and less distracting in terms of time investment. We solved a problem for them almost ahead of time!
